Here are some common mistakes to avoid when paying your required fees on the UNN portal:
- Incorrect Application Number: Always ensure you enter your correct application or registration number when logging in or generating invoices. Mistakes in these details can lead to payment issues.
- Wrong Payment Platform: Make sure you’re using the official UNN portal [unnportal.unn.edu.ng.] for generating invoices and making payments. Avoid third-party websites or platforms.
- Not Generating an Invoice Before Payment: Always generate an invoice from the UNN portal before proceeding to payment. Paying without an invoice can result in unsuccessful or unverified transactions.
- Failure to Use the Correct Payment Channel: You can pay online via ATM card or at an authorized bank. Ensure you follow the correct procedure for the payment method you choose.
- Skipping Payment for All Required Fees: Ensure you generate and pay for all necessary fees, such as the Acceptance Fee, School Fees, and other charges like the Entrepreneurship Fee (for postgraduate students).
- Delay in Payment: Late payments can cause issues with your registration process. Ensure you pay within the specified deadline to avoid complications.
- Ignoring Payment Confirmation: After making your payment, always verify that it has been reflected in your student portal. If there are any issues, reach out to the UNN bursary or support services.
