Student Caught in Exam Malpractice After Forgetting ‘Expo’ Inside Script: A 200-level student has landed in serious trouble after mistakenly submitting an exam script with a hidden cheat note popularly known as “expo” still inside.

The incident surfaced online after a user on X (formerly Twitter), @bahdboydara, shared a video showing the moment the cheat material was discovered inside the student’s answer booklet. According to the post, the student, believed to be from the Faculty of Arts, had hidden a small note (locally called a “chip”) filled with prepared answers but forgot to take it out before submission.

A snapshot from the video shows someone pointing to the student’s matric number, 22/15CD2, and calling him out: “You forgot to remove your expo from your booklet after cheating.” The note was clearly seen inside the script, drawing mixed reactions across social media.

Here are some of the reactions from users:

@col_demo: “Village people track am ni o my bro.”

The video has gone viral, sparking conversations about academic dishonesty and student discipline. While some users joked about the situation, others saw it as a serious issue that needs to be addressed.

Advice to Students:

No matter how tough exams may seem, cheating is never worth the risk. One mistake can ruin your academic journey. Instead, prepare ahead, ask for help when needed, and face your exams with confidence. Hard work will always pay off—eventually.
