About the NDDC Skill Development Training Programme
In line with its mandate to develop human capital and enhance technical competence in the Niger Delta, the Niger Delta Development Commission has concluded arrangements to train youths on the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicle Conversion Programme.
The Compressed Natural Gas Vehicle Conversion Training Programme is structured to provide participants with practical and industry-relevant skills in Autogas Conversion Technology. The training focuses on hands-on learning and professional competence that aligns with modern energy and transportation needs.
This programme will contribute to the development of a more reliable and sustainable transportation sector. It will also support economic growth through job creation and increased demand for trained Autogas specialists. In addition, the programme supports the reduction of harmful emissions, in line with the NDDC commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.

NDDC Skill Development Training Requirements
To be eligible for the NDDC CNG Vehicle Conversion Training Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be indigenes of any of the nine states in the Niger Delta region.
- Applicants must possess a minimum qualification of SSCE or WAEC with science-related subjects, OND in science-related courses, or a Trade Test Certificate from a recognized institution.
- Fresh graduates in engineering-related courses within the Niger Delta who have a clear interest in CNG Conversion Technology are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must be between 18 years and 35 years of age.
Other recognized technical qualifications related to automotive, mechanical, or allied trades are acceptable.
