Brief History of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK)

If you chose UNIZIK or its affiliate institutions as your first choice or wish to change to UNIZIK, you are eligible to apply provided you meet the cut-off mark for your course.

Requirements for UNIZIK Post-UTME Screening 2025/2026

Before applying, make sure you meet the following requirements:

You must score 150, 160, 180, or 200 and above in your JAMB, depending on your chosen course (explained below).

UNIZIK must be your first choice institution. If not, you can visit a JAMB CBT centre to do a change of institution before August 9th, 2025.

You must be at least 16 years old.

You must have at least five (5) credit passes in your O’level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) including English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects.

O’level results can be from one or two sittings only.

You must upload your O’level results to your JAMB CAPS profile before August 16th, 2025.

Direct Entry (DE) Requirements for UNIZIK

If you are a Direct Entry applicant, ensure the following:

You must possess an OND, HND, NCE, A’Level, or First Degree in relevant disciplines.

Direct entry (DE) candidates must also upload their A’Level results to the JAMB portal before August 16th, 2025.

Registration Guidelines for UNIZIK Post-UTME 2025/2026

Here is the step-by-step process:

1. Visit https://apply.unizik.edu.ng.

2. Create an account:

Validate your JAMB Registration Number and supply your LGA and UTME subject combination.

Fill in your email, phone number, DOB, and password to update your profile.

Check your email for a confirmation code and verify your account.

3. After signing in:

Upload your O’level result(s)
Click Buy Form and pay ₦2,000 (online or through bank).
Submit your application.
You will receive an email acknowledging your successful submission.

Important Dates to Remember

Registration Opens: Monday, 28th July 2025
Registration Closes: Saturday, 16th August 2025
Change of Institution Deadline: Saturday, 9th August 2025
O’level & A’level Upload Deadline: Saturday, 16th August 2025

Note: You can still edit your O’level result during the registration period, but after the deadline, the portal will be locked for editing.
