JAMB 2025: Rescheduled UTME Results Released – See How to Check Your Result via SMS and Portal: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). This makeup exam was held for candidates who were affected by technical issues at their initial exam centres.
According to JAMB, a total of 336,845 candidates were rescheduled to retake the exam. Out of this number, 21,082 candidates were absent from the resit. The board did not disclose the reasons behind this high number of absentees.
This update was made public on Sunday morning through a press statement issued by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
He explained that the rescheduled exam was organized to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for candidates who could not take part in the original UTME due to no fault of theirs. The board emphasized its commitment to transparency and the integrity of its examination process.
How to Check Your JAMB 2025 Resit UTME Result
If you sat for the 2025 UTME rescheduled exam, you can now check your result using any of the two methods below:
1. How to Check JAMB Result via SMS
To check your JAMB 2025 result using SMS:
Send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019.
Use the same phone number you used for your JAMB registration.
Make sure you have at least ₦50 airtime on your line.
You’ll receive a text message shortly with your result details.
This is the fastest and most convenient method, especially if you do not have immediate access to the internet.
2. How to Check JAMB 2025 Result on the JAMB Portal
To check your result online, follow these steps:
- Visit the official JAMB eFacility portal: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/Login
- Log in using your email address and password used during registration.
- On your dashboard, click on “Check UTME Results”.
- Your 2025 UTME resit result will be displayed immediately.
It’s recommended to print your result slip and keep it safe as you will need it for post-UTME screenings and admission processes.
