Why You Should Pay Attention to the UNN 2023/2024 second semester Examination Draft Timetable

Secondly, it helps you recognize which exams are scheduled first and which are last, enabling you to prioritize your studies accordingly. Additionally, if you haven’t yet registered for your courses online, this is a reminder to do so promptly, as unregistered courses may not appear on your timetable.

Important Memo from the UNN Registrar about the Draft 2023/2024 Second Semester Examinations Timetable
The UNN Deputy Registrar has issued a memo addressing the Draft 2023/2024 Second Semester Examinations Timetable:
Subject: Draft 2023/2024 Second Semester Examinations Timetable for Inter-Faculty and Inter-Disciplinary Courses
Please find attached the draft timetable for the 2023/2024 Second Semester Examinations for Inter-Faculty and Inter-Disciplinary Courses. In alignment with the 2023/2024 academic schedule, these exams will commence on Monday, December 9, 2024, and conclude on Friday, January 10, 2025. Notably, this timetable includes Computer-Based Examinations for some departments, set to begin on Monday, December 2, 2024, and end on Friday, January 17, 2025.
We kindly request that departments review the draft timetable carefully and provide feedback by Friday, November 22, 2024. Your input is vital for identifying any omissions or clashes that may impact students. Please communicate suitable dates and times that will best accommodate your students’ needs. The Faculty Examinations Timetable Committee’s input is preferred over departmental input for ensuring an organized timetable.
Please note that after the final timetable is released on Monday, November 25, 2024, the Examinations Unit will not accommodate any further scheduling conflicts. Faculty or department personnel will need to manage and resolve any issues internally, including any consequences that may arise. Additionally, please indicate the number of students scheduled for each exam in the designated column on the timetable.
Since departmental examinations are set to occur from Monday, December 2 to Friday, December 6, 2024, it is important to avoid scheduling departmental exams within the inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary exam period. Such scheduling would contravene Senate policy, and departments that create conflicts will be held accountable for any resulting timetable clashes. Examinations Unit assistance will not be available for these issues.
Thank you for your cooperation and diligence in ensuring a smooth examination process.
