UNN Urgent Admission Notice for 2025/2026 UTME Candidates: I want to talk about this update from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka because it is something many students are already confused about. The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) just released an urgent notice for UTME candidates who were recommended for admission into another course that is not the one they picked at first during their JAMB registration. I have seen many people panic about this, so I will explain it the way I understand it.
This new notice is mainly for candidates under Advert, Shopping, or Supplementary admission. Let stay for example, if someone applied for one course but UNN is now offering another one, the student must follow this update. UNN wants everybody to act fast so that their admission will be processed well on the JAMB CAPS portal. JAMB CAPS is still the only place that can confirm any admission officially.
What UTME Candidates at University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) Must Do
I will just say it plain. If you got a provisional recommendation into a different course, you need to go to an accredited CBT centre. You must do a change of course on JAMB CAPS from the old one you chose to the new course UNN offered you. After doing that change, make sure you print the updated admission status. You will carry that printout to the UNN Admissions Office so they can complete the process.
Let check it well, because the deadline is very close. This whole step must be done before noon on Monday, 17 November 2025. JAMB gave that date as the final deadline for all schools to conclude admissions for this session. I want you to understand that if you do not complete this process on time, UNN may not be able to push your name again on CAPS. That means you may lose the admission even if the school already recommended you informally.
Because of this, I will advise every affected candidate to handle the change immediately. Do not wait till the last minute because many CBT centres can be crowded. If you finish the change early, your admission on the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) portal and on JAMB CAPS will be safe.
