UNN Additional Supplementary List 2, UNN Supplementary List 3, and UNN Direct Entry Supplementary List for 2025/2026

UNN Additional Supplementary List 2, UNN Supplementary List 3, and UNN Direct Entry Supplementary List for 2025/2026: The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released more admission updates for the 2025/2026 academic session, and this is good news for many candidates who have been waiting for another chance. The university has now published the UNN Additional Supplementary List 2, UNN Supplementary List 3, and the UNN Direct Entry Supplementary List.

Attention, try to read to the end so you won’t miss any important updates. Also ask your question in the comments section if you are confused.

Every year, UNN releases several batches because some departments still have spaces after the earlier lists. Some candidates also lose their admission when they fail to upload their O’level results or accept their admission on CAPS. This gives room for more candidates to be considered.

Below is a clear breakdown of the new lists and what candidates should expect.

UNN Additional Supplementary List 2 (2025/2026)

This list contains more names added by the university after reviewing the earlier lists. Candidates who did not appear in the first supplementary list should check this one immediately. Sometimes, candidates who meet the cut-off later qualify because some earlier admitted students did not complete their registration.

UNN Supplementary List 3 (2025/2026)

  • This is another admission window for candidates still hoping to get a place in UNN. Supplementary List 3 usually favours candidates whose departments still have openings. It may also include candidates who applied for a change of course.

UNN Direct Entry Supplementary List (2025/2026)

This list is specifically for DE candidates who applied with JUPEB, ND, HND, NCE, or a first degree. Direct Entry admission is always very competitive because the spaces are limited, so candidates should check this list very carefully.

IMPORTANT: UNN Instructions to All Candidates Recommended for Provisional Admission (2025/2026)

UNN has released the official steps that every newly recommended candidate must follow. If any candidate skips these steps, the admission may not be processed.

Here are the full instructions exactly as the school directed:

Upload Your O’Level Results Immediately

All candidates must urgently upload their O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) on the JAMB portal using an approved CBT centre.

UNN will NOT process any admission until this upload is complete.

You must also confirm on CAPS that the upload has reflected.

Do Change of Course (If Required)

If UNN offered you a different course from the one you chose in JAMB, you MUST:

  • Visit a JAMB-approved CBT centre
  • Do change of course to the new department giving to you
  • Print your new JAMB course page
  • After that you will print and submit this document to the UNN admission office Nsukka:

UNN screening result, UNN admission page where your name came out, O’Level result showing in JAMB caps. And the new JAMB course page.

This is the only way JAMB can approve your admission.

After Completing Steps 1 and 2, Do the Following:

a) Accept Your Admission on CAPS

Go to JAMB CAPS and click “Accept Admission.”

If you fail to accept, JAMB will not issue your admission letter.

b) Generate Your UNN Acceptance Fee Invoice

Visit www.unn.edu.ng or unnportal.edu.ng, enter your JAMB Reg. Number, and generate a Remita payment invoice.

c) Pay Acceptance Fee – ₦30,000

Pay at any commercial bank (or UNN Microfinance Bank).

Make sure the invoice number is correctly entered at the bank.

You will receive a confirmation number and invoice number.

d) Complete Your Online Acceptance Form

Return to the UNN portal, enter:

JAMB Reg. Number

Confirmation Number

Invoice Number

Then print your UNN Admission Slip and fill the Acceptance Form online.

e) Continue With Other Payments and Registration

Follow the remaining steps for school fees, hostel (if needed), medicals, and clearance.

f) Note That the Admission Is Provisional

This means you must meet all the requirements before the admission becomes final.

g) Admission Can Be Withdrawn

If UNN later discovers that a candidate does not meet the minimum departmental or university entry requirements (even in final year), the admission will be withdrawn.

Next Steps for All Newly Admitted Candidates

After following the school instructions, make sure you:

  • Print your JAMB Admission Letter
  • Print your JAMB Original Result
