The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) was founded in 1981 by the Nigerian government. It was created to train students in science, engineering, and technology to help develop the country.

O’level Requirements:
Five (5) credit passes in:

(at not more than two sittings)
2. Human Anatomy
JAMB Subject Combination:

O’level Requirements:
Five (5) SSC credit passes in:
- English Language

(not more than two sittings)
Direct Entry Requirements:
Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND) from a recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology in a related discipline,
or
Two (2) A-level passes or JUPEB result in Biology and one other science subject.

- English Language

O’level Requirements:
Five (5) credit passes in:
