Is Computer and Robotics Education different from Computer Science?
Yes, in Computer and Robotics Education, you are taught how to program using some programming languages like Python, Java, C++, C#, etc, also Robotics software and programmes are taught. Also, all practical classes take place at the software lab and maintenance lab. You are taught and lectured on not only tech based also, you will be lectured on how to be a potential teacher/lecturer or tutor to cover up the “Education” inclined in the name of the department. Unlike Computer Science that base on the mathematically part and some programming.

Yes but on Jamb Website, its known as Computer Education, when it was under the Faculty of Education. But processes and procedure has be taken to add “Robotics” to the name “Computer Education”. So when applying, If you put Computer Education, it simply means Computer and Robotics Education.
What’s the duration of its program?
Unlike other departments in the university, it is a four years programme (having 8 semesters).
Does the Department accept Postgraduate students and Sandwich Students?
Yes, there are both Masters, Doctorate, PGDE and Sandwich students in the department. The department has produced many PhD holders and 2 professors as the time of this report.
Is Computer and Robotics Education accredited by NUC?
Yes, it has been accredited and its students are going for Youth Service program unlike other departments in the university.

How much is the school fees for Computer & Robotics education at UNN?
The department of computer & robotics education is paying N110,800 only, this is for Freshers but from second year the school fees will reduce a little bit. Remember that Freshers will also pay an acceptance fee of 30,000 Naira.
