Instructions to UNN direct entry Candidates Offered Provisional Admission
All candidates whose names appear on the UNN Direct Entry (DE) & DE JUPEB Admission List should follow these steps carefully:
1. Upload of O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS
All admitted candidates must urgently upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal using an approved CBT centre. (Only if you haven’t done so before, if you have uploaded before, please confirm they are there and don’t upload again)
Make sure the upload reflects properly on your JAMB CAPS profile.
Note: Your admission cannot be processed until this step is completed.
2. Change of Course (If Applicable)
If you were offered admission into a course different from the one you initially applied for, you must:
Visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre and apply for a Change of Course to the new one offered.
Print your updated JAMB admission slip and submit it to the UNN Admissions Office to finalize your record on JAMB CAPS.
3. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS
After confirming your admission status, go to your JAMB CAPS and click “Accept Admission.”
Failure to accept the offer means you will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be regarded as not admitted.
4. Pay Your UNN Acceptance Fee
Visit the UNN website or UNN Portal.
Log in using your JAMB Registration Number to generate a Payment Invoice containing your Remita number.
Pay your ₦30,000 (Thirty Thousand Naira Only) acceptance fee at any Commercial Bank or UNN Microfinance Bank.
Make sure your Invoice Number is correctly entered at the bank, then collect your Confirmation Slip showing your Confirmation and Invoice Numbers.
5. Print Admission Slip and Complete Acceptance Form
Return to the UNN Portal, log in again, and input your JAMB Registration Number, Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number.
Print your Admission Slip and complete your Acceptance Form online.
6. Proceed with Registration
After completing the above steps, continue with the registration and payment of other fees as indicated on the university website.
