More than 1.94 million candidates took the exam in 118 towns and over 700 centers across the nation.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, announced the results during a press conference at the board’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday.

The exam took place from Friday, April 19, to Monday, April 29, 2024.

Steps to follow to check your JAMB-UTME Result

JAMB has provided easy steps for candidates to check their results, and the results-checking process involves the steps below:

Firstly, you will need to visit the Jamb result Portal with this link https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/Login

Then login with your email address (the one you linked with Jamb) and your Jamb password.

Now follow these steps below:

Method 1: Using the JAMB eFacility Portal

This is the official website for checking JAMB results.

Enter your JAMB registration number or email address: In the designated field, enter your JAMB registration number or the email address you used during the registration process. Make sure the information is accurate to avoid errors.

Click “Check My Results”: Once you’ve entered your details, click the “Check My Results” button.

View your result: Your JAMB result will be displayed on the screen. It will include your scores for each subject you took, your total score, and your admission status (if available).

Method 2: Using SMS

Open your messaging app: Use the same phone number you used to register for the JAMB exam.

  • Compose a new message: Type “UTMERESULT” or “RESULT” followed by your JAMB registration number (e.g., “RESULT 12345678”).

Send the message to 55019 or 66019: These are the official JAMB result-checking SMS shortcodes.

Receive your result: You will receive an SMS response containing your JAMB score and admission status (if available).

Additional notes:

Checking your result via SMS costs N50. Ensure you have enough credit on your phone.

You can also print your original JAMB result slip through the eFacility portal for a fee of N1,500.

  • Print a copy of the results.

You can print out a copy of your result slip for future use because your institution will ask for it when you resume school.

Click the “Print Result Slip” button on the portal and make the necessary payment to complete this. After that, you’ll be asked to input your JAMB registration number once more. Click “Print Result Slip” once again after inputting your registration number. After that, your result slip will appear on the screen, and by selecting the “Print” button, you can print it out.
