JAMB UTME 2025/2026 Registration has been Postponed, check the new date.

JAMB UTME 2025/2026 Registration has been Postponed: The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has changed the start date for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration. Instead of beginning on January 31, it will now start on February 3, 2025.

JAMB also warned that it will penalize Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres that use dishonest methods to gain approval for the exam.

This was announced in a statement by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, on Friday.

He explained that the change was necessary to allow JAMB to update its registration system.

“These updates are needed due to the receipt suspension of some law programmes in certain universities, as reported to JAMB by the Council for Legal Education,” he said.

“Also, JAMB found that some CBT centres used fake facilities to get approval. Because of this, the Board needs more time to inspect and remove such centres.”

JAMB apologized for any inconvenience the delay may cause to candidates and others involved, assuring that the extra time will help make the registration process smoother.

According to The Guardian, the Mock UTME is set for April 5, 2025, while the main UTME will take place from April 25 to May 5, 2025
