UNN Supplementary and Shopping Admission Lists for 2024/2025 Are Out:  The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released the Supplementary Admission List and the Shopping Admission List for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who applied through these categories can now check their names online.

If you participated in the UNN Supplementary Admission process or applied through the Shopping form, it is time to verify your admission status and take the necessary steps. 

How to be eligible for the UNN Supplementary/Shopping Admission Lists

Those that Applied and choose the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) as first choice institution and also went on to register for the UNN Screening registration has automatically eligible for their name to be in the supplementry list(s) but to enhance your chance of your name coming out in the Supplementry/Shopping List, you can purchase the UNN Shopping/Advert Form for the particular UNN academic session.

How to Check UNN Supplementary and Shopping Admission Lists

The University of Nigeria has made it easy for candidates to check the admission lists online. Follow these steps:

1. Click the link below to access the official UNN admission list page:

(https://www.unn.edu.ng/2024-2025-advert-shopping-and-supplementary-list/)

2. Download the PDF file and check for your name on the list.

3. If you find your name, proceed with the necessary admission process, including accepting your admission on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Important Update for Transferred Candidates or UNN candidates admitted through the shopping form to another course/program

For candidates transferred to another course through the UNN Supplementary or Shopping list 2024/2025:

  • If you were offered admission into a different course than your initial choice, you will visit a JAMB CBT center to process a change of course to the new course given to you.
  • Ensure that your O’Level results are correctly uploaded on the JAMB portal to avoid issues with your admission status.
  • After resumption, you will need to visit the UNN Admission Office to submit your documents for verification. Your JAMB CAPS will then be updated, and your admission status will change to congratulations.

  • Candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:
  • All candidates are STRICTLY advised to URGENTLY upload their O/Level results into JAMB Portal using a JAMB approved CBT Centre, and forward evidence of upload and Admission Status in JAMB CAPS to the Admissions Office. Note that candidates’ admission cannot be processed until proper upload of O/Level results are done.
  • Visit the JAMB Portal and accept your admission on CAPS by clicking “Accept Admission”. Candidates who fail to accept their admission on JAMB CAPS would not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and would be deemed as not admitted.
  • Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a Payment Invoice which contains a Remitta number, the invoice will enable you to make payment at any Commercial Bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
  • With the Payment Invoice, candidates are requested to pay Thirty Thousand Naira Only (N30, 000.00) acceptance fee. Ensure that the Invoice number is keyed in appropriately at the Bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice number.
  • Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
  • Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated on the University of Nigeria website.
  • Candidates should note that this admission is provisional.
  • If at any time in future, including final year, it is discovered that any candidate does not possess the minimum university and the faculty/departmental entry requirements for the course as prescribed by the Senate of the University, and published in JAMB Brochure, the offer of admission will be withdrawn.
  • Candidates who fail to accept their offer of admission after two weeks from the date of publication of this admission being Friday, 7th February 2025 will be deemed to have forfeited the admission

How to Check your UNN admission through JAMB portal Admission Status

Checking your admission status on the JAMB portal is free. Follow these steps to check your status.

1. Visit the JAMB portal at (https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/)

2. Enter your login details in the required fields and sign in.

3. On your dashboard, click on Check Admission Status.

4. Select your exam year, enter your JAMB registration number, and click on Check Admission Status.

Your admission status will show one of the following messages:

  • Sorry, no admission is given yet – This means you have not been offered admission.
  • Your admission is being processed – This means your admission is still under review.
  • Congratulations – You have been offered admission.

If you are admitted, make sure you accept your admission on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Do not follow unofficial methods!

Only UNN and JAMB are authorized to activate your admission status. Avoid third parties or unverified processes. Your JAMB CAPS must officially update before you can see the final “Congratulations” message.
