UNN Releases 2024/2025 Supplementary Admission List III and Direct Entry Lists: The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released the Supplementary Admission List III and the Direct Entry Admission Lists (Primary & Supplementary) for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Important Instructions for Newly Admitted Candidates

Candidates offered provisional admission must follow these steps to confirm their acceptance:

1. Upload Your O’Level Results on JAMB CAPS

Candidates must urgently upload their O’Level results through a JAMB-approved CBT centre.

After uploading, they should submit proof of the upload and their admission status on JAMB CAPS to the Admissions Office.

Admission processing will not continue without this step.

2. Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS

Log in to [JAMB CAPS](https://www.jamb.gov.ng) and accept the admission.

Candidates who do not accept their admission will not receive a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered not admitted.

3. Generate Payment Invoice

  • Visit the UNN website ([unn.edu.ng](https://unn.edu.ng)) or the UNN portal ([unnportal.unn.edu.ng](https://unnportal.unn.edu.ng/)).
  • Log in with your JAMB registration number to generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number.
  • Use this invoice to make payments at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

4. Pay the UNN Acceptance Fee

  • Using the payment invoice, pay the ₦30,000 acceptance fee.
  • Ensure that the invoice number is entered correctly at the bank.
  • Collect a confirmation slip with your confirmation number and invoice number.

5. Print Admission Slip and Complete Acceptance Form

Return to the UNN portal and log in with your JAMB registration number, confirmation number, and invoice number.

Print your admission slip and complete the online Acceptance Form.

6. Proceed with Fee Payments and Registration

Follow the guidelines on the UNN website to complete all necessary school fee payments and other registrations.

Important Notes

This admission is provisional. If at any time, even in the final year, it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the university’s admission requirements, the admission will be withdrawn.

How to Check Your JAMB Admission Status

Below is the method to check your JAMB Admission status and accept it reject your admission:

On a Computer

1. Go to the [JAMB E-Facility website](https://www.jamb.gov.ng).

2. Log in with your email and password.

3. Click on “Check Admission Status.”

4. Select your exam year, enter your JAMB registration number, and click “Access my CAPS.”

5. Click “Admission Status” from the menu.

6. Your admission status will be displayed under “Admission Profile.”

  • If admitted, you’ll see options to Accept or Reject Admission.
  • If no admission offer is available, these options will be greyed out.

7. If you haven’t been admitted yet, keep checking the portal for updates.

On a Mobile Device

1. Open Google Chrome and go to the [JAMB E-Facility website](https://www.jamb.gov.ng).

2. Log in and select “Check Admission Status.”

3. If you only see a welcome message, switch to Desktop Mode:

  •  Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
  •  Select “Desktop site.”

4. Click “Admission Status” and then “Search” next to your JAMB registration number.

5. If admitted, you’ll see options to Accept or Reject Admission.

Once you accept, print your JAMB Admission Letter for school registration.

After Seeing Your Name in the UNN Supplementary List III, What’s Next?

  • Start preparing to resume and check the UNN website for the resumption date.
  • If lectures have already started, you are expected to resume school as soon as possible.
  • If you have any issues, the best place to resolve them is at the UNN Admissions Office.
  • If UNN hostel allocations are full, you are advised to rent a lodge off-campus.

How to Accept Your UNN Supplementary Admission at a JAMB CBT Centre

1. Visit a JAMB-approved CBT centre.

2. Present your JAMB registration number to the JAMB CBT personnel.

3. They will check your CAPS, and if you have been admitted, they will accept it and print your JAMB Admission Letter.

4. Collect your admission letter before leaving.

Update for Candidates Transferred to Another Course

  • If you were transferred to a different course through the Supplementary List or Shopping List, follow these steps:
  • If you accept the new course, visit a JAMB-approved CBT centre to change your course to the one you were offered.
  • Ensure your O’Level results are correctly uploaded on the JAMB portal.
  • Your admission status will be updated after the changes are processed.
  • Upon resumption, submit the necessary documents at the UNN Admissions Office.

For those offered the same course but their CAPS still shows “Not Admitted”:

Submit evidence of your admission and proof of O’Level result upload to the UNN Admissions Office at Nsukka Campus.

For Combined Social Science candidates:

There is no need to change your course yet. After clearance, UNN will assign you a major department, and then you can change your course officially.

Do not follow unofficial processes. Only UNN and JAMB are responsible for activating your admission status.
