O’Level Result Requirements for Admission at the University of Jos UNIJOS

To gain admission into the University of Jos UNIJOS candidates must meet the following O’Level result requirements

1. Minimum of Five Credits

  • Candidates must have at least five credit passes in relevant subjects
  • These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings

2. Core Subjects

  • The five credit passes must include English Language and Mathematics
  • Other required subjects depend on the chosen course of study For example
  • For science courses subjects like Physics Chemistry and Biology are often required
  • For arts and social science courses subjects like Literature in English Government and Economics may be needed

 

3. Recognized Exam Bodies

  • The O’Level results must be from recognized examination bodies such as WAEC West African Examinations Council NECO National Examinations Council or NABTEB National Business and Technical Examinations Board

Meeting these requirements is essential for eligibility to apply for the University of Jos admission through the UTME Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination or Direct Entry.

UNIJOS Departmental Cut-Off Mark
